Sands of Time - What's On

The 2010 'Sands of Time' seaside festival is being held on Sunday 5th September this year. So join us for a fun filled day at England's south coast sunshine capital, Bognor Regis.

In keeping with 'The Sands of Time' tradition all your favourite events are back. Donkey rides, the open top bus, the cavalcade of vintage and classic cars, displays, exhibitions and a full range of children's activities. Not forgetting the most important event of the festival the 'Sandcastle Competition'.

This years event is limited to the one day, but what a packed day it's going to be. So be sure not to miss it.

Until further details are confirmed for 2010, last years program below will help give you a flavour of the festival.

Unlike previous years, all the events will be in four main entertainment areas. The Seafront Bandstand, Waterloo Square Gardens (opposite the pier), On the Pier itself and in the grounds of the Royal Norfolk Hotel.

On Saturday Grounds of the Royal Norfolk Hotel: Craft Workshop for children Giant Games Face painting Waterloo Square Gardens: Art Show Pottery painting Marquee with History Exhibition and Model Railway Exhibition In front of Pier: Get Cycling Roadshow – KMX Karts and a CircleCycle – great fun for adults and children to try On the Esplanade (with Road Closure) Charity Fair – lots of stalls Bandstand (East of): Donkey Rides Entertainment on Bandstand and also on decking on Promenade: Punch & Judy Littlehampton Concert Band Plus much more.
